Volunteer Opportunities

Daybreak Parent Child Centre has a long history of volunteer opportunities. For over 30 years volunteers have been the backbone of many Daybreak programs.

Our volunteers are given the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including:

• Home Visiting (Community Connections Program - DEEDFRI)
• Drop-in playgroups
• Toy-lending program
• Parent group support (i.e., helping with snack preparation or craft group)
• Facilitating a parent group (i.e., walk and talk, sewing)
• Home Tutoring (i.e., English as a second language)

Volunteers are provided orientation programs and training based on the program they wish to support. The application process for a volunteer is easy! Just contact our Parent Program Coordinator by calling the General Office, 726-8373.
